I'm trying to figure out other outcomes, if the professor a) does not reply (which is what I expect to end the week with), or the professor b) says the grade stands (which is the expected reply whenever he gets around to it).
Other outcomes being... trying to convince the chair to let me take the first of the summer courses anyways, and if I can't make it through that one, then I close out of the rest of them, and probably tell him I'll go find another major. Use the fact that my book is already shipping to me, I've already paid the bill for the courses, and I've rearranged my work schedule to accommodate exactly these courses, no others, and it cannot be rearranged a second time.
His benefit? If I can't make it through the class, I'm gone, and won't be back to bother him either now or in the future - and if he won't let me in the class, I will be giving him a headache by going to the next level up, with again, the grounds as listed above, I've already put all of this in motion, stopping it now is a lose-lose for everybody.
My benefit? Well, then I have a chance at making the 4.5 or 5 year graduation, instead of 6.
