Still nothing from the calculus professor. I now have 47.5 hours to get a response from him, with a positive result (i.e. grade going up by 6-8 points), or I'm getting dropped from the summer courses.

Yeah, I'm betting he's on vacation this week.

I swear to god that was AM a couple weeks ago.

I think it's far too late to change my work schedule. OH WHAT THE HELL.

I might have some print outs at home to confirm they changed it.

Okay, so although the registrar's list says PM, it's actually, per ISIS and the official registration system, AM.

Well, I already knew the registrar's office was incompetent, so this shouldn't be surprising.

Well, the woman stops train thread has ended. Now let's see how many bans get handed out from that one.

Also, down to 46 hours.

Lunch, the second part, took just under 20 minutes. Lulz.

I'm trying to figure out other outcomes, if the professor a) does not reply (which is what I expect to end the week with), or the professor b) says the grade stands (which is the expected reply whenever he gets around to it).

Other outcomes being... trying to convince the chair to let me take the first of the summer courses anyways, and if I can't make it through that one, then I close out of the rest of them, and probably tell him I'll go find another major. Use the fact that my book is already shipping to me, I've already paid the bill for the courses, and I've rearranged my work schedule to accommodate exactly these courses, no others, and it cannot be rearranged a second time.

His benefit? If I can't make it through the class, I'm gone, and won't be back to bother him either now or in the future - and if he won't let me in the class, I will be giving him a headache by going to the next level up, with again, the grounds as listed above, I've already put all of this in motion, stopping it now is a lose-lose for everybody.
My benefit? Well, then I have a chance at making the 4.5 or 5 year graduation, instead of 6.

I don't really see the need for pre-reqs, and the two superior schools I've encountered didn't even use a rigid pre-req system, just an advisory approval. Well, okay, I see a need for pre-reqs, but not for this sort of super rigid system, unless they are concerned about the quality of their students with regards to not holding back the rest of the class?

And to answer that, I believe that people asking questions, particularly strings of questions, during class, are extremely rude and inconsiderate. It's not something I ever do.

And if they are considered with precedents, I have two friends at the school. One is in civil engineering, and one is in electrical/computer, but he's got another year of progress on me.
