Not only do they screw up mail deliveries, but on the last two packages which have required signatures, they didn't bother to leave the "we missed you, pick it up at the post office!" form until the FOLLOWING day.

Which in the case of the package that was to be delivered yesterday is a problem because the incompetent morons didn't leave the form until today and after the post office was closed. This means I will have to miss work to go and pick it up.

The level of incompetence is astounding. My wife heard me coming in from the mailbox and cursing their names.

It makes me wonder if this is in retailiation for the time I left them a letter in my mailbox telling them I was tired of getting the wrong person's mail and that their job wasn't rocket science. :awe:

thankfully, my postman here is a bit nicer.
Package pickup at the main post office. Ugh. It's always a zoo. Getting in and out of that place in under 30 minutes is rare.

I am just going to have to go into work late on Monday and pick it up on the way. I was really hoping to get the package because it had some parts for my Amiga that I was going to use to troubleshoot this weekend. The wife is gone tonight and it was going to be a perfect time to work on it. :(

This has been a bad last few days for me. Screwing things up, making lots of mistakes, etc. Maybe I should just drink a lot tonight. :awe: At least I got my printer fixed, but I still have to figure out why the print quality sucks.

I suppose I could disassemble the Amiga and do some work on it tonight. It did finally stop raining as well so I could go work in the yard, but my main task is to plant seed and patch dead areas and the forecast tomorrow is for high winds, meaning much of it would blow away.

Things worked better for me today.

The first piece of good news was last night. Mr. President canceled his trip to Williamsburg. He would've flown into NN (PHF), then motorcaded upto Kingsmill.
This usually makes traffic very yucky.
