EDIT: Staples might be better because of the smaller rebate associate with the cards (at least for the CF that is)

The 256 MB Compact Flash card is selling for $49 and change - after a mail-in rebate at Staples this week. However, COSTCO sells it for this price every day -- with no rebates involved. If you're seriously considering this card, head for COSTCO. 🙂

Costco gives free 1 day passes, but I personally just ask the checker if I could possible use his/hers...when im only buying 1 or 2 things, have yet to talk with a checker that doesnt mind.

Not to crap on the deal if you have a better local B&M than I do, but I've never been able to buy anything worthwhile through these OfficeMax deals because they get like 1 of the item in stock and sell it on Sunday at 8am when the sale starts. When I have about a 75% chance of the things on sale not being in stock, it tends to make me skeptical. I guess that whole WD 80gb harddrive fiasco left a sour taste in my mouth.
Somehow I doubt they would give me a raincheck on the $150 2410 printer they had this week 🙂Originally posted by: Lurker1
Generally, OM will give rain checks on many of the deals. Try asking sometime.

Well, I only go there once ever 3-4 months and you know the people that work there have the card...probably get a free membership. I just act all stupid & ask if I could use theirs b/c I forgot mine.

Hopefully one of these days it will be in stock. Now if only i could find a USB cable for less than a hundred million dollars. (Seriously, $30 - $40 is rediculous for a 10' cable)
