When do these suckas hit dealerships? >>
They should be arriving now. I sat in one at the Minneapolis auto show on Sunday (Honda had two there), then I drove a Daewoo Lanos (OMG, what an inexcusable POS!) off the convention center floor

and straight back to my friend's Nissan (and Daewoo:frown: ) dealership.
The Civic Si was a bit smaller than one of the many new five-doors arriving from Japan, but I think it goes without saying that almost any hatchback will have a lot more utility than a coupe. The seats are trimmed in a very nice, suede-like material and are stitched with red thread. The leather-wrapped steering wheel was smaller than in a normal Civic. The shifter seemed like it would work very well while driving, and it still had that perfectly crisp, one finger light feel in action that us Honda folks are accustomed to. They had a gold and a silver one at the show, but I bet black, or some other dark color would look much better on the outside. And no, it wasn't tall.
Edit: Oops, I wasn't done.
