Do #3, she'll be exhausted from her trip, so it will be nice to get a gift at home, where she can admire it for a few minutes then pass out from jet lag ;)

#3, on the way home stop down the street from home and give her a wrapped up box with something she could use in the new car. air freshner. fav cd to play in it, a hoola girl.....if thats what shes into

#1 buy one of those windsheild sunreflector things, one that says lifes a beach see if u can turn it over and write welcome home and hang a tag off the side view mirror says to.......Mrs. fillinyourfullname here find yourself in front of the new car whip out a card from your pocket (has key in it) and give it to her.

make sure there is a victoria's secret bag with something for you in it on the front seat for later.

#1 and #2 are about the corniest things I've ever heard. Don't do them. They're stupid.

Shine it up, put it in the garage, and pop the garage door when you get home. That's classy.

Nah...I can't post from home anymore so I'm relegated to posting during slow times at work. Just happen to be in a lull this week.

Sit back and watch the surprise that follows. Receive sexual favors all night.

3 is the best. cars with bows = nice gifts :D

did she specify that she wanted a mazda6? i just heard some story about a husband who surprised his wife with a car and she didn't like it so they went to marriage counseling. i'm sure that's not gonna happen (his wife was probably spoiled or something) but it's still something that you should consider to make sure she really wanted it.

anyhow, if i got a car, i'd be a happy wife, so i wish you the best :) and i bet she'll love it!

yes -- in fact you have no idea what i had to go through to find this exact model in this exact color. it is EXACTLY what she wants. Like i said earlier - she had been planning on buying this spring. I thought i'd beat her too it.

that is so cool. i am wishing you both the best! :D

leave the m6 in the garage. act all normal, if u have your freezer in the garage then maybe you could ask her to get u something out the freezer for some reason

ford my ass,
that car was designed in japan, the chief designer was Iwao Koizumi

Mazda 6 was designed in Japan, but comes off Ford assembly lines here in the U.S. (at least, the engine does, not really sure about the rest... Google it if you care, which I don't.)

well,- if i understand correctly - ford is paying the bill, and it uses the 2.3 liter engine developed by ford (used in the ranger and a few other vehicles.)

btw -- just looked it up -- the ford version of the mazda6 is going to be called the Ford Fusion.
more info on the fusion

very nice, too bad ford and gm are at a $2000 per car disadvantage to the japanese to begin with.

the US auto industry would be so much more competitive if it went bankrupt
