New Limited Edition Air Jordans Released Today/Violence Ensues

Today was the first time I've ever seen people lined up outside the local Footlocker while I was walking by on my way to work. The place wasn't even open yet.

I really don't care...no matter how "limited" they are...some people should get some selfesteme...instead of trying to find it in a pair of fucking shoes...

This is how selfesteme IS built in the US today.
The more you got, the better you feel

FYP 😉
It's a downward spiral...with morons licking shoes...people getting in fights...over cheaply produced shoes.

If find it both sadning and hillarious to observe.

oops
I get it now
I did not read the article or get the *This doesn't happen in the lines for the iphones or ipads.... * in the OP

I'm Canadian, so my first thoughts weren't with the racist crap
😉

Where is the racism in the OP? It is only there for those that go reaching for it. Please cite any stories where widespread violence across the country occurred while people were waiting in line for an iphone or ipad (there have been 5 releases of the iphone and 2 for the ipad, yet not once did stories about 'shots fired' or the use pepper spray in multiple cities occur at any of these releases.)

Why are other items that are highly sought on launch day that can yield just as much profit (if not more) being flipped (such as iphones/ipads) do not produce the same scale of violence across the country? This is a serious question that I doubt those who cry 'racism' will address.

Whoever said that iphones and ipads are not in limited supply on launch day is a liar and has obviously no clue how launch day sales work...

God, when Air Jordans first came out there was violence. Who the hell gives a shit about these things anymore?

Remember that fad of wearing air jordans as a necklace?

People would buy the small kids shoes and wear them as a necklace. No joke.

Well of course they can.
And white kids fight over jordans

My point was that the association with Blacks and sneakers was not really on the OP's part (hence the irony of the accusation). Of course, you picked up the association from Gonad, so I should not have quoted you. Sorry about that.

You can also read the OP as * How come Geeks don't fight over iphones? But sports fans are ready and willing to die for their team.

Sport fans are morons.
To lousy to play themselfes, they attach themselfes to players...and think they are a vital part of the team....hillarious.
