Got it going. Boy it was a mutha. anyway i reinstalled windows not a format just a reinstall.I dont know if that was it or the getting rid of dx8 was it.Im using dx7 now but dont whant to install dx8 intill i hear sombody els with the kyro using it. It seems very fast. I notice no diff from the 5500.i can tell you that on my system it is faster than the 32meg radeon.Image quality is excellent one of the best.Im going to try 4x agp now and see whats up.BTW this card is way better than the mx imo.

i'm using dx8 but if it's going well w/dx7, don't bother upgrading

I finally put it back on last night and all is fine. This card is more powerfull than i thought it was going to be. Its amazing the chip is only runing at 115. I got mine at 120 now. Also got agp4x to work.

I had a problem with 3D until I checked the monitor refresh rate, it defaults at 60 hz and the Kyro likes at least 85 hz.
I changed that and it ran great. I think it's the best card I have ever owned.
