i think it's just me and AdamK47 - 3DS(who has a vivid kyro) on this board but i could be wrong... anyway, i tried these drivers out Q3A 56.1 FPS all settings max w/anistropic filtering @1024x768 got the same FPS bilinear w/older drivers 26.4 FPS 4XFSAA @800x600 50 FPS when disabling X or Y in FSAA

Which company produces the Kyro? I've heard it had some interesting technology, tile-rendering?

Kyro uses HSR which helps speed things up. It's slightly buggy, but far less so than the Voodoo 5's HSR implementation. It's not a bad little card, but I certainly wouldn't consider getting one...don't trust them for support/drivers etc...

Ordering online does usually require a credit card, which not all people have. That might not be his reason but I couldn't order anything online for a long time until I got my debit card (I hate credit cards, but at least this works everywhere one of them works).

Thanks for naming us as a good PowerVR site. There are quite a few Kyro users out there, and it is a good card.

Also <plug> I've uploaded the latest version of Kyro Tools (Kyro tweaking package) to the website, pop along and get it.

Oh yeah, if you want ot buy the Vivid! from a shop pop along to Videologics Website they have a store locator hope that helps.

Well right now im haveing problems. its fine intill i try a sreansaver or any game it will lock up or reboot itself. Ive installed the latest via 4&amp;1 drivers set agp to 2x.Also got the latest drivers from the inno3d page. I took out all reg containing 3dfx and ati.whent to windows system and cleaned it up good but it still does the same thing.2d is fine though.im on it now.I did the directx test and its all good also.Im running dx8 does that matter?i need to go read and find out whats wrong.BTW i know its probably not going to be as fast as my 5500 but it will make my case alot cooler.My poor duron hits 60c somtimes in a game ive ben in awhile.
