I've been hearing rumors about this stuff for the last year and a half. It's been "top-secret". I'm suprised it was released with no fanfare.

Here's the Arctic Silver page about it.

Ceramique application instructions here..

Due to the unique shapes and sizes of the particles in Ceramique, it will take a minimum of 12 hours to achieve maximum particle to particle thermal conduction and for the heatsink to CPU interface to reach maximum conductivity.

Nice....much better than the 72 hours for AS3

I've got some in here, and its about 2-3C degree's better than AS3. The Common # amoung everyone that I've talked to is ~2C better.

If you really think about it 2.7grams isn't tiny at all. How many times are you going to apply this to how many cpu's? I for one am glad its smaller, its less waste. If you really need more, pay the 5 extra dollars and get the 22 grams (that's a helluva lotta thermal compound).

Trust me, this stuff is worth it. However if you already have AS3 laying around, I wouldn't go too crazy over paying some extra money for it unless you're running a highly overclocked computer =).
