The Borg love them though. They're great to bring along when decimating new civilizations. Something to keep up the general spirit of the Collective.

Volume = Size

After all, you don't see car companies claiming they have the biggest engine when they only have the largest bore or stroke.

Your conditional BS was rebuked by the plywood post. After all, if size is not determined by volume, rather by an arbitrary dimension determined by the blathering idiot spewing it, then who says the one who gets to make that dimension?

That is why mathematics is here, to prevent stupid people from infecting the rest of the world...

/Thread

I made an engine related bore gag, above, but it sailed above most peoples heads.

OP, thanks for acting as the village idiot. Not only are you extending the length of your topic, but at the same time, it helped us who were bored enough to post here to feel a little better about ourselves by beating down a dim wit with our "superior" mathematics and logic senses.

It truly takes a special person to sacrifice himself for the entertainment for the mass. With any luck, this thread could be the ?biggest? of the week. Congratulations, keep up the efforts.

Def a nominee, but not the winner. That title belongs to the dumbass that ripped someone off with a computer on ebay, then came here looking for sympathy...

I like the cube for it is $10 cheaper and has a OLED display which I dont think the apple even has anything at all. Can use your own MP3's (250 songs) or WMA's (500 songs, beat that apple :)) and not just Itunes or have to wait for a hack to use your own, and unlike apple it can be used as a flash storage device to transfer not only music but files too.
Sure its not flat but it does alot more, has more features, cheaper, OLED readout, FM Tuner, and is more versitile (sp) then the apple could be.
I think the apple has it on 12 hours play time where the cube is 10 but honestly who in the hell listens to it that long straight.
And IMO that new Apple looks like the 99 cent fm tuner jobs you get at walmart on clearance that sound like crap and will break the first time you forget its attached to your pocket and sit down. The cube looks to have a neck strap hole so you can just wear it around your neck or pop it into a pocket and forget about it.

But it ultamtly boils down to is the consumer and what works best for thier application and consider to be the smalles to fit that situation. For me its is getting the most for the buck and if I had the choice the cube offers more. Thatks OP I may ask the wife for that for my birthday coming up since I have a small flat one and it doesnt like to stay in my pocket and Im afraid I may lose it. Kinda gojing to be hard to mess the cube up when it straped around my neck.

in itunes you can partition the shuffle to partially, or completely hold data. (at least on the old shuffle)

Personally, I like the shuffle more, because is looks way cooler, and it is very durable. I have the old one, and i have put it through quite a bit, and it's still going strong. The new one with its aluminum casing seems pretty durable too

I used to be anti IPOD... I honestly think their design and functionality is pretty good a lot of the other manufacturers... only thing that bothers me is the outrageous prices compared to similarly sized/space mp3 players.

yea use itunes enough and it'll mould your collection into something more usable..playlistwise atleast. they keep track of stuff like skip count now:)
