Quadruple exhaust outlets set into the bumper signal the performance potential of the coupe, which Honda says will be offered with a more powerful and fuel efficient V-6 than the mill in the current car?possibly a version of the new, 300-hp 3.7-liter V-6 that?s in the Acura MDX?as well as Variable Cylinder Management, Honda?s cylinder-deactivation system.

EDIT: wow more replies here than in Off Topic...They said this will be as close to the production model that will come out this fall.

yikes, the first picture in the gallery reminds me of a Tiburon! Honda can do a better job on the front end imo.

I can't believe this thread is not only still here, but actually going gangbusters--and this long after the op admitted the placement mistake.

While we're all goofing here, I agree the Honda looks hot, but I somehow think--and this is based solely on the preliminary pictorials--the upcoming 2008 Nissan Altima Coupe looks even better.

Can't say I have much personal experience with Nissans outside of the 2000 Xterra I bought in June of 1999, just three weeks into its intro. But I still have that, and it's been rock solid, and has never been in the shop for anything other than maintenance and a lone recall on a potentially faulty fuel sending unit.

To me its a huge improvement over the current model accord. I used to love the body design till they changed it last year.

I am not at all fond of the front end. Far too blunt. Needs to be much, much, lower.

i read that the high and stubby front end is because of euro pedestrian crash standards, which requires a certain amount of space in front of the actual engine. The implication of this is we can expect alot more new cars to look like that.
