Quadruple exhaust outlets set into the bumper signal the performance potential of the coupe, which Honda says will be offered with a more powerful and fuel efficient V-6 than the mill in the current car?possibly a version of the new, 300-hp 3.7-liter V-6 that?s in the Acura MDX?as well as Variable Cylinder Management, Honda?s cylinder-deactivation system.

EDIT: wow more replies here than in Off Topic...They said this will be as close to the production model that will come out this fall.

that is a hot car, too bad since the accord is a family car that will never make it into production. too futuristic looking for a family vehicle but hot none-the-less

All current car manufacturers on the "cutting edge" owe AUDI a few design dollars. When the "guppy mouth" flat face came out with that silly huge grill, everyone hated it. Now...its on everything.

take a look at the current coupe - I own an Accord sedan, but the concept isn't that far off the current production coupe (which isn't at all family oriented)

If they could only make this a "nice" car (a la BMW, Mercedes). Their Acura line just doesn't do it for me, but if this model were made luxury-esqe, I'd be all over it.

Monotaur, as a G35 owner, I can assure you that you don't want the G35. Everyone has their own experiences, but I have had two excellent experiences with Honda and one truly horrible experience with Nissan (Infiniti). Just like any other "deal" around here, if it's going to break a lot, or if the manufacturer is horrible about customer service, that makes it not be such a good deal anymore - or at least a case where the buyer should beware.

I will never, ever purchase a Nissan product and I would happily purchase a Honda product, because that is the experiences I have had. YMMV, of course.

The Accord and the Camry are consistenly leapfrogging each other for the number one and two the best car values in their class - and probably over all cars in general, as their class represents the most competive spot in the car market. So for folks who are interested in total value, they're definitely cars to watch. Even if they aren't the exact models you want, they also reflect the tides in the industry.

I am very happy to see the trend towards more engine power AND fuel efficiency. I can drive fast and save on my gas bills - that's a Hot Deal!

CtK et al., I'd be happy to continue in PM, rather than getting well off topic.

Nice car. :)

I've got a 2004 Maxima, so I'm familiar with the engine + etc. The 2007 G really looks nice, and the new VQ35HR is supposed to be really impressive too.

Anyway, I guess I shouldn't venture any further OT. Nice post OP!
