EDIT 1: Just read that this baby is shipping starting today to AMD's partners, so we should probably see it in retail like in couple of weeks so like toward end of this month. Of course all complain aside if they price this 65nm part correctly I'd be happy to consider it over an older generation card.

I wonder what's up with this new generation of DX10 parts, only 8800s seems to be like a generation
ahead of the older stuff, eveything else like 8600s, HD2600s are all like a generation behind can't even
keep up with the older cards and are selling at a premium as well. While 8800s are just edging into
500/600 range. There aren't much compelling reason to choose the new cards anymore. Adding to the
fact that DX10 games are no where to be found. I think they will have to wait until Xmas to push those
DX10 parts, at present, the value segment cards don't got much value in them.
