No competition, just targets. The Raptor can shoot either plane down without even needing to get within dogfight range 99% of the time.

The entire US military industrial complex is a sinkhole for our tax dollars. Pork barrel projects don't even compare to the amount of money we sink every year into failed military projects and unneeded weaponry.
We could learn a thing or two about waging war from our enemies. They seem to be killing our soldiers just fine using AK-47s and improvised explosives.
I predict the F-22 won't see combat for the next few decades; the fleet will be resigned to county air shows and training missions.

The F-22 wasn't made for extreme maneuverability anyways; it super-cruises, locks on, and fires.
Russian SU-37s are a bit more impressive in regards to flight maneuverability.

etc etc etc. Honestly, not trying to troll, but why do people get such a hard-on for these Russian planes? There are acrobatic prop planes that are more nimble that either the Su or the F-22, but it doesn't make them a good fighter plane. The MiG-29 is a whopping 0-18+ in encounters with other fourth generation aircraft. Only confirmed kills for the Sukhois have been against MiGs. Compare that to the F-15's 104-0 air combat record. Russian fighters may make for pretty demos at airshows, but hell, they can't even stop them from falling out of the sky there. And yet every time someone posts about the F-22, there's this horde of people who must INSIST that a Russian fighter that has never engaged in combat, much less entered production is teh awesome. . .

cool video but it's really hard to apreciate the speed and agility of the raptor. since the camera is kept zoomed in and on the plane all the time with no shots of the plane relative to the ground, it's hard to see how fast it's climbing. still nice video though.
There'd be nothing factually incorrect if I walked into Times Square and started reading names from a 1987 phone book. But it would give people reason to question my sanity.
It's obvious that you completely obsess over politics and the current administration. There is something just "off" about you injecting politics into nearly every thread you enter.
