New F-150

Say hello to my new 2013 F-150 FX4 SCREW Ecoboost.

Came with nearly every bell and whistle available. I am loving it. They were practically giving it away with nearly $10K in discounts so I couldn't resits. I absolutely love the Blue Flame Metallic and 20" rims.

Can't wait to get a tuner and start messing with them turbos. 😎

Anyone on the fence for a new pickup definitely needs to consider these trucks.

Great looking truck. They've done some great things to them recently, especially in the creature comfort arena. My step dad has a 2012 I think, nearly fully loaded, non eco-boost (opted for the V8). Thing drives like a dream and is very quiet. Like the eco-boost myself.

Congrats and it'll give you many, many miles.

Nice truck. I was looking at those earlier in the year and talked myself out of it. They were offering around $10k off the sticker too...which, I think makes it more difficult to buy used. Used dealers mark their prices based on the MSRP and depreciation, rather than the sold-as price that most dealers will give you.

I ended up buying a 2009 Standard Cab STX with 18" alloys, sync, bedliner, rear window to save cash since I wanted a truck and not a family-hauler. Even with the 4.6L engine, it gets 18mpg on the highway and tows/hauls everything I need great.

I was impressed with the power of the Ecoboost, but felt like the salespeople were pushing it harder than the V8.

I would still be very pleased with that truck. This just happened to be sitting on the lot when I went to look and I fell in love.

Very nice. I am gonna look at getting a new truck next year. I want the 5.0 V8 though, and I'll either get a Supercab or Regular cab. 4x2, because I don't need 4wd in South Texas.

Most days, 5 miles (office). Some days its 50-60 (site work).

This gets as good gas mileage as my '09 Murano did.

Just curious. I commute 60+ miles a day in SoCal traffic and I don't like filling up every 4 days so neither of those vehicles would work for me.

Congrats on the new sled.

Nice, you can fit 5 adults comfortably AND haul and tow pretty much whatever you want.

And 23MPG!!!

Win!

WOOT! $150 per fillup!!! I'd probably have to visit a gas station about as often as I do with my Camry Hybrid but it only costs me $50 to fill that up.

True, but sometimes having something fun to drive trumps gas mileage. I've been driving a Prius around for the last 10 months and I'm bored to death. Sometimes I think I'd rather pay more at the pump than drive the automotive world's equivalent to anesthesia.

OP - Congrats on the new ride. I'm not much of a truck guy but yours looks very nice and the twin-turbo 3.7 should be fun to play with.

That's why I have a motorcycle. 😉 373 lbs, 100hp, pure unadulterated fun!

Edit-Pic removed. Not trying to make this a thread about literbikes. 🙂

Still, even having this in my garage I find myself taking the Camry most days.

But again, congrats to the OP. I'm not a truck guy but it looks nice.
