So we had a new employee start about two weeks ago. A couple days after she started, she asked if she could bring in a label maker and install the software (herself). I'm like, no, I have to do it. She then apparently found some old and outdated fonts that we had stored on our server. She tried to install them (herself) and quickly found out that she didn't have the proper Windows permissions to do so. She asked if I could install them for her which I reluctantly agreed to do. While doing so, she asked if she could bring in a screen saver from home and again asked if she could install it herself? Notice a trend so far...? About a couple days ago, she was complaining that there wasn't a particular font that she liked and used at home. She asked if she could bring a copy of it and again install it herself.

GRRRRRRRRR
Do you have a computer policy at work that covers users installing software, etc. etc. etc.? If so show it to her and remind her that ALL employees are expected to comply.

If your work doesn't have a computer policy......... Oh well, got what you deserve
I have one. She signed it before she started, or at the very latest, on the first day.
