A one-layer merchant?

Hmm...

Oh, I understand now. Their shady practices are hidden behind a single layer of long-gone repute! Thanks for making everything clear.

say i am going to sell you what ever you wanted that i had for 20$ i sell it to someone else, you check back with me and i tell you its 40. clear?

Then he doesn't buy it, simple as that.

I see the opposite.

I buy... someone tells newegg and they lower the price AND the shipping cost. :(

I understand, now. I feel so utterly foolish for missing the now obvious correlation.

Like the hurricanes in Florida, this thread has turned out to be an absolute disaster.

Apples != oranges, want != need, market pricing != gouging

Yeah, who could forget about the earthquake that killed millions all over the internet? Now people are trying to save their lives with motherboards, but those greedy bastards at NewEgg are keeping them down.

lol, with hardware prices changing so much because of something later and greater always being released, how could he assume that prices would drop just for him? He should just go to BestBuy were prices are always higher than normal, but never change.

ROLFMAO

stores raise and lower prices all the time. you say that as if Newegg had a binding contract with you to keep their prices where they were.

just move on with your life and shop somewhere else.

Let's all take note that Newegg sold out again at $249 while ZZF has it in stock at $279. I'm sorry, who is gouging? It seems to me that Newegg consistently has the lowest price and can't keep it in stock while the OP is just suffering from sour grapes due to an inability to click the Buy button.[/quote]

the ETA of the item is set for Monday and at that time they will be selling it for the positive price adjustment of 20+$ at that time. but you just made the point of why they raised the price up. ZZF still have theirs in stock, so i guess its Gouge for everyone.

Stop using the word gouge for Newegg, you know what price gouging is? Charging $1000 on an XBOX360, not charging $20 more for a motherboard.

You still haven't made it clear why having the cheapest price is price gouging.

Yes, you have now made it abundantly clear that -- under YOUR definition -- everyone gouges. You fail economics.

Who is to say this shipment won't cost them (newegg) more or that the price ZZF has isn't based on a shipment they have already recieved at a higher price? Looks like there is short supply all over.

we are all consumers of products on the free market. I don't like the feeling of being taken advantage of. I seen it this way as from what New Egg has done. Ive purchased from them before and maybe in the future as well, but sometimes things must be heard.

I do not have any hard feelings for anyone and or everyone who as replied and posted here.
