Yep, here in Nebraska again. The news looks bad, no bridges on the new batches of Durons that are hitting the market. The Thunderbirds still have them, just not the Durons.

Anyone else see this yet?

The last scare was when everyone reported Durons without the multiplier pins on the CPU package... People were sending in pics and all. Of course it all turned out to be fake. So I would need a few pics, and alot of personal confirmations to verify it.

if MR said he personally saw them, i would not doubt him. he has been an honest guy for as long as i remember why start lying now?
 
I will beleive it when Anand & Tom & Kyle and all the gang say it's true. until then it's all speculation.
 
I think that logically it is likely to be true. Or it will be soon. Do you think AMD which is cutting its prices so much anyway, really likes people clocking £60 cpus at 1GHz? When they could be selling such chips for £300? Course they don't. AMD is not a charity, father christmas or even the tooth fairy. AMD are businessmen who had inferior products for a few years but are now market leaders.

No little buddie, father christmas will bring you a fast chip but he gets it from his friend AMD only if you always eat your vegetables and brush your teeth.

Last time someone called my bluff they did just that! Everything I said was true. It looks like AMD wants people to overclock still, just using the Thunderbird rather than the Duron.
