I don't mean to speak for anyone, but I'm almost certain if you ask any of them and they will tell you they think the premise of your comments in the OP is ridiculous and full of hypocrisy.

All those people you quoted are not agreeing with you. Just because many think there should be a dress code does not mean we think it is any serious transgression of any type.

Duhversion for the ezmarks, just gotta stop being reminded of their treasonous dear leader, if only for a day.

The Senate has been a joke for decades. Piss on them all until they remove the filibuster.

I don't give a shit if half of our elected officials are openly in support of fascism. As long as they wear a suit, I feel a whole lot better about things.*

*This is hilariously tragic shit people actually say.
Exactly this - let's worry about the senators that participated in a coup attempt and then maybe circle back for the suits after.

Coup guys - always focus on the coup.

This is really all there is to it. This crap that the ezmarks gobble up is just a distraction in the sea of their distraction news networks to take the eye off the important stuff

We should get together, and throw Tuberville a blanket party.

Ahh yes, Tuberville. The Alabaman who doesn't live in Alabama. The one who decided it's too much work to do his fucking job and educate himself on the issues he's suppose to vote on. So fuck it, let's just not vote on it.

This is A-OK to conservatives btw. Even though it may hamper US security and the smooth operation of our armed forces.

Guys! This dress code thing is important because Fox says it is!

If your outrage and your thread creation history matches up with Fox News talking points, you just might be brainwashed by right wing media. How embarrassing the OP must feel.

Dress code causing America's steep decline? If there was a list of 10,000 things effecting America's decline?

#5 Misinformation / Lying to the public
#9,559 Dress code.

Fox once again takes a grain of truth to mislead the public. They run a story 24x7 and then continue to justify running it by saying "people are concerned."

Remember: 24x7 Trump claiming the election was stolen. Feedback loop moves to Republican politicians passing voter suppression laws with the premise, "people are worried about the security of the vote."

Bobo is more indicative of America's decline but I don't see Fox running stories on her recent public grooming attempt.

I was going to go with
Fetterman on Tuesday mocked the Republican senators’ objections, writing on X, “I figure if I take up vaping and grabbing the hog during a live musical, they’ll make me a folk hero,” an apparent reference to a recent controversy involving GOP Rep. Lauren Boebert. The Pennsylvania Democrat, who told CNN Raju earlier this week that while he was “grateful” for the new flexibility in his attire, has called the GOP’s criticism “mystifying.”

Fetterman's twitter response to this has been hilarious. So much that I wasn't sure it was real until I looked at it myself.

I agree..

If for some reason Biden has to bow out.. I'd much rather go with Fetterman.

He can handle those jagoffs..

He's got a "John Fetterman's Body Double" shirt on his site now too (poking fun at the meme about his "disappearing" arm tattoos)

I comment on a lot of threads, I don’t create a lot threads. One doesn’t require a lot of effort or concern. Your thread creation history really shows who you are and I was giving you an opportunity to show us you are more than a partisan hack, sadly it doesn’t appear there is any more to you than that.

I also do not create a lot of threads.

How many do you think I have created?

No reading their posts and yours they did agree with me. You just want to argue.
Show me where I made it sound overblown or the end of civilization. You are the one doing that.

I said it was a sad day. Where is that interpreted as a "Serious Transgression"?

I do agree with others that, while I don't feel you need a suit, you should at least be casual office wear.

But way overblown by the OP, who makes it sound like the end of civilization.

You're trying to imply they agree with you that it is the end of world civilization for Fetterman to wear a hoodie and shorts. My quote was in there too. I'm telling you that on a scale of 1 to 100 of importance, with 100 being the least important, this is 101.

Again, I am not trying to speak for anyone, but I will say every single person you quoted barely gives a shit if Fetterman wears a hoodie or not. So no, they don't agree with you. And I most certainly don't.

I do wish conservatives acted with at least equal levels of alarm to a coup attempt that involved members of Congress more than how well dressed they were at the coup.
