The whole thing is kind of dumb.

As a corporate IT pro for a long time, I never gave two shits about what people wear. In fact some of the most unprofessional people I've ever worked around have been suit-wearing execs.

That said, it's the damn Senate....at least wear khakis or something :) Hell as relaxed as my place is (was, I'm WFH now)--and with 0 non-company interfacing done by most of us--we still couldn't wear flip flops and shorts. You wear those to the Senate, you are a publicity-hunting clown. And yes the people getting all spluttery over it are clowns as well. Put on a polo shirt and jeans and get to work, wankers.

I think he should wear the appropriate clothing as it’s just a distraction.

I don’t disagree that Fetterman’s clothing is inappropriate for the Senate floor. I don’t think a suit and tie should be mandatory either. Business casual should be more than good enough.

To be clear Fetterman should put on a suit.

I do agree with others that, while I don't feel you need a suit, you should at least be casual office wear.

I agree, I expect professionals to dress professionally. After hours or on casual Fridays maybe not. I think he could find something better than a hoodie, what do I know.

Well at least I'm not alone in my thoughts...

How about enforcing ethic codes for the senate, congress, supreme court and white house?

Nah, let's just distract the lemmings with inconsequential dress codes.

Link a quote where I stated that " I said more than once I'm just trolling here".

Nope, I don't keep track of your bs for you.

Besides, I don't need it. Your bar for proof is "many people are saying", and guess what....many people are saying.

You made your bed, so enjoy your stay.

You made the false claim.
Back it up or admit you are telling a lie.

haha, you are a clown. you think you have a leg to stand on, lulz fr.

I have no idea why you think you support the people then think you can demand "proof" from others.

This thread alone is proof of my claim, dimwit.

Is this the only thing that concerned you enough to make a thread about?

Of course not, that is silly for you to think that. I have many concerns and opinions. I just happened to make a thread about this subject.

I see you were interested enough to make a comment.... Hmmmm.

Lol, to you, I must be electable, since that’s what you go for. I just need 29,999 more to match your preferred candidate.

Your pathetic troll thread is still funny, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I comment on a lot of threads, I don’t create a lot threads. One doesn’t require a lot of effort or concern. Your thread creation history really shows who you are and I was giving you an opportunity to show us you are more than a partisan hack, sadly it doesn’t appear there is any more to you than that.

Your kid just had his heart explode. The #1 cardiac guy in the country just showed up to operate on him.

Are you really going to bitch because he's dressed like Hawkeye from M.A.S.H.?

Apples to oranges. Find a better analogy. It's not like Fetterman doesn't have time to dress himself before work in the morning. I'm a lowly lower management drone and I try to at least look like I give a shit about my appearance.
