I hate to be a Debbie Downer but that thing looks like it was designed by Viagra users for Viagra users. The over-sized snout is just too there.

Did anyone see how much less it weighs? 240 less than the current base and 200 less than a 528i. We may see a V model under 4000lbs which would be awesome.

This is what Lincoln should be trying to do. Big fairly classy but a bit guidoish sedans that you'd expect to see a corrupt mayor being carted around in. This is what these brands are supposed to deliver in the marketplace but haven't.

Looks like a camry with a fatter front and rear end...

Also MOAR LEDs. I think they could squeze a couple dozen more around the wheel wells.

I think it is a good evolution of their design language (that I'm not particularly fond of).

I don't think I can say it better than this. I am glad as an American that Cadillac is making reasonably competitive cars, but they don't really speak to me. I do think this is a nice refinement of their characteristic modern look.

odd that infiniti started off with the better looking car when the G35 and CTS came out, but the G (now Q wtf) has gone downhill each generation in exterior styling while the CTS has improved

Lincoln is failing miserably these days, IMO. Such a great heritage, but it needs to be more than just an upgraded trim level of a Ford.

And it is unfortunate, because I really think Cadillac has been on a roll with products.

When I was a kid in the 1960's/70's, THIS is what I thought future cars should look like. Too bad we had to go through the 80's and 90's.

It made you that uncomfortable huh? Too funny.

The thing is, he's right - it looks nothing like a Camry. Yes, in profile, in the same color, there are some superficial similarities, but from any other angle there is essentially no resemblance. I don't think even the most casual, untrained observer would confuse the two on the road.

Maybe a little less edgy and more "grown-up" than the previous version but still a very nice design. It certainly looks more Mercedes than BMW/Audi/Lexus but if it drives like a BMW? I think they have a winner on their hands.

More "grown up" ? Not covered in 15 miles of LEDs it isn't... who are they trying to attract, classy adults or make pretend baller pop culture teens? If they don't ditch the LEDs they might as well put 5% tint, a spoiler, and lower it on 22" chrome wheels and install factory "22" emblems on the fenders while they are at it, because that's how most of them will end up.

What will the people all up in arms about LEDs going to do when you can't buy a car without lots of LEDs?

Very nice but way too Mercedes like.

Also I doubt this will be even close to real end product. Jalopnik has a long history of this sort of BS.

Well, it's a 2014, which means it will be out in 6 months or less. I think it is too close to production for us to see any major changes.

BTW, I think it's beautiful, but like almost all GM cars these days, I am guessing it is going to be a pain to see out of. Hopefully it has a good camera in the rear.
