Out of context? I posted numbers from graphs with explanantions. A link to the entire report and graphs. I added nothing. The only laughable thing is the meltdown of you guys. I have laughed so hard I had tears. Show me where I posted that blanket statement? I have blamed society not the gun. But if I can't stifle society I better take away what they are using. Unfortunately its that precious gun. But all these arguments are same as drunk driving and smoking. Its only a matter of time. Soon or later they will peel most if not all those guns from yall's cold dead fingers, lol.

Wow....just....wow.... :eek::eek::eek::eek:

I have laughed so hard I had tears.

And the rest of the forum is laughing at you.

You posted a graph showing a lot of suicides use firearms. Myself, and others have pointed to other countries/locations that have bans on firearms and suicide rates much higher than ours. We are making the point that the gun has nothing to do with it. I mean, how else could you explain how places with complete bans have worse suicide problems? Seems pretty cut and dry...

I have pointed out that gun bans have led to an increase in violent crime every single time (but you wont address that, you just stick your fingers in your ears and scream "CDC!!!")

I have pointed out that 2.5 million people use firearms to defend themselves every year. (but you wont address that, you just stick your fingers in your ears and scream "CDC!!!")

You tried to make the claim that Canada had a low crime rate. I busted you out on that one, and asked for your rebuttle 4 or 5 times, and you say nothing. You only scream "CDC!!!"

Basically, whenever you post you get thumped and just scream "CDC" as if thats somehow an "I WIN" button. In reality, its making you look like a fool.

But go ahead, dont let us stop you from laughing and thinking you won the debate in this thread. Just know that you are completely alone. Hell, besides moonbatbeam, none of your liberal blowhards (IE Craig, Senseamp, et all) have not even backed you up on this one. Think none of them saw this thread? Or do you think they see you getting owned here and are shying away from this thread...

Yes, out of context, as in where these events are happening. If you included that you would find that most of the gun crime you lament happens in places where gun-control is very strict, of course that will be ignored completely by you, and every other anti-gun nutcase.

I have blamed society not the gun.

Right, so guns don't have anything to do with crime, which is committed by criminals who do not follow gun laws, and gun laws have no effect on crime, glad you could get with reality.

For whatever reason, his brain is just unable to connect the dots. I think he is just trolling us at this point.

I think if anyone was familiar with the homogeneous culture of Japan they'd understand Japanese gun laws.

Yes, I just posted it because Moonpie was talking about Japan and suicide rates, and the thread is about gun control.

Can we just send classy on a temporary vacation? This has to be intentional trolling at this point. NO ONE is this dumb. Even spidey07 and patranus when they self own themselves give it up and move on to the next thread of shit they like to stir. This is beyond ridiculousness and beyond the scope of the original post.

Classy you are either the most ignorant person I've met in a long time, and that is saying a lot with the amount of ignorance I read on these forums daily, or you are just intentionally trolling. Either way, call it a day and move on. Not a single person has agreed with your point of view, even the other anti-gun people, several pages back. I will say it again. "Stop, classy just stop."

It's actually quite fascinating from a social and political view. Individuality is not the accepted norm and fitting it with the rest of society is really pushed.

A fine example. :p

At least tens of millions would die in such an attempt. The entire economy of the world would collapse as the US sank utterly into revolution with an armed and trained populace fighting for their way of life. Chaos would eventually reign unimpeded across the globe.

For your own way of life, you had better pray that no one ever comes for our weapons.

Dude, um they listed the states. And none of those states I believe are strict. The info is not out of context. You just haven't read it.

But I have, because I did it professionally for a couple years (working on firearm and self-defense legislation at the local, state, and national level).

Your interpretation is faulty, as supported by the bulk of social scientists in the country (as represented by the National Academy of Sciences investigation into the impact of gun control).

There is absolutely no supportable argument for gun control in America, while there are some general arguments against it that have never been refuted.

Self own? I posted solid undeniable evidence which has led to the meltdown of the little rascals. They have called the CDC liars, even though I quote the entire portion of the reports and supplied all links, I have misquoted. Yeah..................Right. One has said ignore the info, another has resorted to posting childish gifs, that he created while hanging out with his cousins, lol. And here are you, you can't deny the reports, so what do you do, whine about someone taking a vacation. Of course no one in this thread is going to agree.

We got Amused "Bob Lee", nkgreen aka "Zorro", and nicolette "Jason Bourne/Ru Paul" leading a bunch blood thirsty internet posting bad asses. I don't know sometimes if I should laugh or cry. Its pathetic. It really is. And most of you would either faint or wet your pants if you were presented with a real life gun battle. Now all these people, CDC, medical people are liars. Its a joke. You win that owning a weapon is legal, but all this other garbage I read here is just garbage. Man someone really pull a gun on you, you would sacrafice your your mother you would be shaking so bad.

I did read it, it only included 17 states, missed a few, lumped all homicide together, including police killing people, did NOT break it down into cities, or even by the very few states they collected data in, nor the circumstances. Your report is useless, and yes, you used the information out of context.

Umm last time, you better read again. Police killings are included, broken down into percentage. It was 16 states not 17. Circumstances are included and I quoted them as well. Its not my report but the CDC, you know, the damn government. The homicides are seriously broken down to include not only relationship of perp and victim, but race, age, even whether drugs were involved, type of crimes. That report is very detailed. Try again

I know what's in it, and California wasn't included, so what? That's even worse. It is NOT broken down into states, or more importantly cities, it doesn't mention local gun laws or their effects. You are assuming that because it has some details, they are useful, they aren't. Fact is it doesn't back up your bullshit at all.

Since you ignored it, here it is again.

Also, for the 6th time, what do you have to say about your comments regarding Canada classy? You are trying to dodge that one pretty hard.

Not really, He has basically said, this is America and we have the CDC!

He has collapsed his whole world into a microcosm of the US and the CDC and nothing else matters. Even there he has yet to prove to me using CDC data how guns = more suicide attempts and how more or less guns = more or less crime of various types in any direction. He's a lost trolling cause.

Don't get mad, hehehehehe. Its okay. I don't work for the CDC. I just thought I would post some facts, rather than fluff. :)
You still haven't walked us through how handguns in the home are 70% more likely to be used to harm a friend or relative than in self-defense.

Or, just admit that you pulled it straight out of your ass so that we can move on...

classy why dont you go look at the FBI crime reports. Instead of the Center for Disease Control? THey can show you that violent crime in Florida is lower now than it was when they didnt allow Concealed Carry.

Britains Violent Crime rate has gone up even since they banned firearms

they have alot more stabbings now!

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/1440764.stm

Obviously, Florida now has an average age of 150 and folks that old kill with canes. Also there are fewer folk dying being shot with alligator jackets, and stabbings are up because knife-mongers aren't afraid of guns.

http://www.fbi.gov/ucr/cius2008/offenses/expanded_information/homicide.html

Expanded Homicide Data

■In 2008, law enforcement agencies submitted supplemental homicide data to the FBI for 14,180 murders.

■Of the homicides for which the type of weapon was specified, 71.9 percent involved the use of firearms. Of the identified firearms used, handguns comprised 88.3 percent. (Based on Expanded Homicide Data Table 8.)

■Concerning the relationships (if known) of murder victims and offenders, 23.3 percent of victims were slain by family members, 22.0 percent were murdered by strangers, and 54.7 percent were killed by acquaintances (neighbor, friend, boyfriend, etc.). (Based on Expanded Homicide Data Table 10.)

■Concerning the known circumstances surrounding murders, 42.0 percent of victims were murdered during arguments (including romantic triangles) in 2008. Felony circumstances (rape, robbery, burglary, etc.) accounted for 22.9 percent of murders. Circumstances were unknown for 35.3 percent of reported homicides. (Based on Expanded Homicide Data Table 12.)

■Law enforcement reported 616 justifiable homicides in 2008. Of those, law enforcement officers justifiably killed 371 individuals, and private citizens justifiably killed 245 individuals.

That was for 2008 from the FBI. The people murdered in 2008 were killed by either a family member or aquaintance to the fat tune of 78%.

71% were knocked off by a gun

Circumstances-42 percent during stupid arguments.

Do these numbers sound familar? These numbers are similar to the CDC numbers of 2 years prior concerning the 16 states.

Let me guess, the numbers are mis-interpreted, taken out of context, a lie, not important, or the best one yet the FBI is anti-gun.

Oh and you gun slingers accounted for stopping less than .5% of all the murders in the country in 2008. But 42% of the murders were committed by morons like yall. Not criminals, but dumb, stupid, retarded, slobs like yourselves. Yea, classical is bringing the noise.....with a little fluff and flare :)
