I put together a new computer last night with the following piece:
DFI NF4 Ultra-D
Athlon 64 3500+ Winchester
2 x 512 PDP Patriot Memory
Chaintech 6600GT
Zalman CNPS7000B Heatsink/fan
Fortron Blue Source 500w PS
WD 120GB SATA HD
Everything went according to plan except now whenever I try to install windows I get a nice BSOD with this message "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL". Now I know what IRQ's are and I wrote down the list of them but I am not sure which device is causing the problem.
(Perhaps devices with the same IRQ number? ie. Network Controller, Serial Bus, and USB 1.0 all use 5)
I messed around in BIOS to change some things but in the end nothing worked and I don't know enough to continue. Thanks for any suggestions and welcome to the forums
