New BSB cd YEA

Deeko

Lifer
I know everyone here is a big fan of the Backstreet Boys 😛 but I just got their new CD that came out today. I must say, it's good stuff. And guess what, they wrote almost all of the songs. So much for crying that they don't. NSync's No Strings Attached was better than this, but it's still good. Also got the edited version of the new WuTang CD for DJing...didn't listen to it yet, but I bet it's REAL good when edited lol

wow they almost wrote almost all of their almost songs!!!! yeah!!!!!

i will agree i like a very few of their songs, but the fact that their fan base is a couple of million prepubescent girls scares me.

Hey now, by saying stuff about groups that don't play instruments....now you're getting on pop, rap, R&B, dance, you know, just about everything popular 🙂 And they wrote I think 12 of the 14, that's an improvement of their last CD, I think they only wrote 1 or 2 of the 12. BBMak is pop and they play instruments and write their own music, and they are very BSB/NSyncish. I win 🙂

You're right! But that's because just about everything "popular" these days is not good.

WTF is BBMak?

Bigsmooth, it must be good to some people, cause there are 2 or 3 parties every weekend where people will pay me good money to play it for them.

BBMak's a group. Their biggest single is Back Here. It's pretty popular. Not so much as Nsync/BSB/98 Degrees, but it was on TRL for a pretty good span.

Deeko: just because a lot of people like it doesn't make it good music.

Cases in point: New Kids on the Block, Vanilla Ice, and Milli Vanilli sold a ton of records in their day, do you consider them "classical artists" now?

I used to throw parties in college all the time and I always played rap, dance, and pop, because that's what people can dance to. But any time I wanted to actually listen to the music, you can bet all my party CDs were nowhere to be found.

I think it's good. But I guess I kinda have to....I'd never live through my job if I didn't. Of course I don't consider them to be classical, their music isn't really that old. New Kids were certainly good in their day, as was Vanilla Ice, never really cared for Milli Vanilli though. NSync and BSB both have multiple records in the RIAA's top 50 or something like that. They aren't just popular. They are a bit beyond that. And they will probably last for a good while longer. There is no dissention among them. And they are still selling huge amounts. So they will be around. OT, but Limp Bizkit may break up soon if anyone cares.

Ok, classics of the genre, yes defintily to the New Kids. They defined today's Boy Band, so they certainly are. Not really to the other two.

I go for good music. the boy bands got a bad rep because they stole all the girls? maybe, but thats just one reason that the media and the "tuff" guys at schools think. We all have our preferences right Deeko? 😉 About the originality thing, they're just brought up by angry guys that are jealous of boy bands and jelous girls that dislike Britney. You're all be peered pressured into disliking these bands. Deeko and I like their music, not them! 🙂 If I won an autographed picture of them (or someting else of a prize), would I keep it? Hell NO!, I'd toss it away, oh wait, I'd probably sell it and make money.

Hah the warez rip has been out since the 14th🙂 Its a pretty good album i guess, i havn't listened to it all the way through yet. There are 15 tracks for the japanese version, is this the same as us retail?

and i hate it when ppl get nostolgic and say that past music is better then current. There has been a lot worse released in the past..you could probably say that the average quality of music has gone up.

Hey I've got two supporters now 🙂 Woohoo it's 3 on 34,000 😀 I've had shape of my heart for a long time now. Came on a DJ promo CD. I'm not really into downloading whole CD's....or really downloading much at all anymore. Cuase I'm not just listening to this stuff, I'm getting paid for playing it. So it just doesn't seem right not owning the music. Anyway, the US version that I have has 14 tracks...hmm...wonder which one the Japanese version has that this one doesn't?

I want to buy the CD to give to this girl I like, but haven't heard most of the songsyet, I've tried dwonloading all of them from Nap, but most of them are renamed NSync songs 😉
