I have the NB 1022 for paved/trail running. NB definitely makes an excellent product. I doubt you'll be disappointed.

Footaction.com has the NB 2001 for 50% off and I was thinking of buying those. Guess this is going to be a good buy. Thanks!

Doctor's recommend New Balance all the time because of their superior support. I have minor foot problems, and NB have really been the only shoes I cannot complain about.

NB forever. I've been wearing 608/609's for like two years now... i just buy the same pair again. altho, i'd wish they'd make some new, but non-flashy shoes.... sorta getting tired of the same old thing. hehe.

They are nice shoes. An added bonus is that NB tries to make all their shoes with USA materials and make them in the USA.

One last question fellas, how does the size compare with that of Reebok, Nike etc? I am 8.5 in reebok and want to know if the same size is ok for New balance. Thanks again :)

I have been wearing them for like the last 10 years ... they actually make my size! (12 4E wide) and they are very comfortable.

I have owned these overhyped monsters, they are good, but no where near $200 good. I'd pay about $75 and be happy. Good luck

I love them - they're the only running shoes that I weill buy. My local Military Exhange was selling all of their inventory of NB shoes, and I got 3 pairs for 11 bucks each (original price was 60 bucks!!!!) :p

Maybe runner's mags, but I just checked CR and they seem to be the same as all the other brands, some good, some not so good.

I just bought those a week ago. I've gone NB for 3-4 years now. Nike has become too flashy. I live 10 minute jog from a NB factory outlet store. They mentioned the major sale of the year is July 23th to 28th, 25% off everything. IIRC.

Darn, i've always known/heard they're the best for running, but the last time i tried them on they felt weird. The shoe rolled off towards the toes, which was unacceptable!

regarding sizes, I wear a 9 in both NB and Nike, but I'm also not especially picky about my feet/shoes, so don't take my word for it...

I love NB. Other than an unfortunate experience with a pair of Sketchers, they're the only sneakers I've worn for the past seven, eight years. Love'em.
