I got some narrow feet and high arches, and I love my Nike 2:45's. I've run some NB in the past and didn't think they were very good for my running needs.

NB shoes are wider, thus more comfortable.
And no only a small fraction now are made in USA, so they can stick their made in USA badge on there. But they have sweatshops right next to nike in indonesia for most of their shoes.

NB is awesome. They have the best balance between firmness and cusioning IMO. Esp for trail use, I found that Asics were too soft. They absorb impact, but you also feel all the rocks on your feet. NB's absorb impact, but also filter out the sharp edges better. One thing that NB should change is stop putting so much plastic in their trail shoes, makes them look like rubber galoshas or fisher-price toys.
