Wow, awesome! The real deal- none of this knock-off stuff. I had no idea Staples carried Antec cases. The 1040BII is my favorite right now. Can someone IM me please and tell me the difference between it and the 1080AMG other than the color?

Ahhh- should have read the thread first. But still, why the 1040 vs. 1080 designation if they're the same?
Side Acrylic Windows now available for the NEW Plus series and all you modders! Altho they are expensive directly from Antec, yeesh, at least they will match my AMG case now...now I just need to decide on Red or Blue Fans inside with my Red MSI MB

so check thru the other F site and do search on staples and you should see the thread. I believe the Model Number for Black 1080 Perf Plus case is PLUS1080B, and Beige PLUS1080, and Grey PLUS1080AMG...just match the model with the IM number then order. YMMV tho on cases not listed directly by Staples as far as geting the PM plus Coupon stuff. GL
SIDE Seethru Panels at Antec
The 1040 is a Performance2 series and IS different, the side panel does not have the Fan Mount and the biggy is it has the Smart Power Supply, not the better TRU power supply series which is whisper quiet as well. If it says Performance PLUS then this is the newest case from Antec and it comes in Black, Beige, or Antique Mettalic Grey. Staples only has the Grey color of these new cases listed in the 1080 and 660 Models...you can however still order the Black and Beige versions of the PLUS series if you have the Ingram Micro number...might just be a lil tougher with CSR on PM and coupon since some of them will say we don't PM our third party orders, but just call back till you get a CSR who knows what their doing. You can look up lots of Ingram Micro numbers but I am not gonna link to it since not sure if thats a Lockable offense here

Was supposed to get here 11/8 but arrived 11/16 instead...after I called staples and reordered of course....grumble grumble grumble. TOIGHT case though. fans are toight, front ports are toight, 430watt power supply is very toight. and the color is HOT!

Black looks kinda funny in these Grey cases, Beige looks ok...wish I could get all RED drives tho, that would look sweet. Anyways I keep the door closed most of the time so I dont even notice the beige drives. I will look at my case mod sites I know of and see if they carry the paint color yet for the Grey cases, gonna be a tough color to match tho on your own.
I bought one of these about 2 weeks ago for $91 shipped. Great case, looks very slick - but i can't figure out how to match the case color, i guess that's what the door is for anyway. It's a bit heavy, but for the price, I'm not complaining.
Anybody know if the $30 off $100 coupon is still out there?

How's the PSU noise on this Chieftec case? But I prefer the Antec metallic gray over blue. But then I like Chieftec's ALUMINUM.
