Of all locations to have this movie take place, the creators thought it was a good idea to set it in Antarctica. Another thing is the timeline...modern day is BORING. They should have done it like in the comics/novels and set it in the future (sort of like during the Aliens movie). Aliens vs Predators vs Space Marines would have been great.

You've pointed out most of my fears for the movie. Who knows, maybe they will say there is some heating thing under the ground or something. I still dont get why aliens and predators would be down there in the first place.

The aliens are down there because the predators put them there - the hunt, for a rite of passage. And, the building they discover is a Mayan pyramid . . . I've read some things that suggest Antarctica hasn't always been frozen over, maybe that's going to be their excuse.

I love all the people ragging on the movie without even seeing it. It already looks better in the previews than the pile of crap that was Alien: Resurrection.

Note also there was an alien homage in Predator 2 long before Dark Horse came out with their line of comics.

Nod. Are you referancing the display case with the Alien skull?
