I was flipping through planetneverwinter and I saw the knockdown feat. There are NO requirements to use that feat! It looked to be a very, very easy way to get in a cheap shot. Hell, even a mage or a halfling with single digit strength could bum rush in and execute it knocking a high level fighter to the ground. Or, at least that was how it looked to work in the info sites that I was reading.
In the game, are there any saving throws that you can make to prevent a knockdown from happening to you?

One word for you...DAYUM!
But while I'm playing BG2 with TOB addon (can't afford NWN yet) I've had Sarevok do 200 damage with the Silver Sword which is a +3 two-handed sword. Also 10% chance to die upon successful hit. He's a tank in the game!
I need to stop reading this thread, otherwise I'm gonna end up buying the game and forsaking sex with the wife for a couple months...🙁

If you bought an RPG, especially a D&D based one without any knowledge of the rules/classes/skills/ect, and didn't expect to spend a lot of time on it, then blame no one else but yourself for not finding the game entertaining.
RPG's ARE NOT quick playing games.
