They won't delete my account. I've tried for several months.

I doubt there's a modern relational database in the world that can't do a recursive delete of posts by username. It's probably just not a function coded into the moderator set of commands, and doing it manually is too much of a hassle.

Well I've never heard or seen of an actual account deletion on AT. Bannings prevent the names from being used again. Deleting a name would have to delete all of the previous users posts. That would take all of the posts he started with it. And when someone wants to use that name, theres going to be confusion.

I've seen them do it to others. WombatWoman had all of her posts deleted once. I've seen banned people have all of their posts deleted also.

If someone doesn't have integrity in these matters, it will come out in their lives on the net or not.

Outersquare, I have gotten to know the girl in question as well and I know she doesn't deserve your baseless accusations. She is one of the most sweet and thoughtful people I have met. I understand that you were hurt, but you need to get over it. What you've done (as others have pointed out) is to open the can of worms known as "wild speculation." In trying to avoid dragging someone's name through the mud, you've started a gossip chain that will drag most likely several person's names through the mud. I don't think you meant to, though.
