I do think she's more divisive, but in large part for reasons I consider unfair (that is, her relationship with her husband and her gender, as well as the various BS perpetuated by Fox News and its ilk). When Bill Clinton was President there was a volume of dislike of Hillary that was, to my mind, completely disproportionate and unreasonable, and to me it was largely borne out of sexism. The idea of a vocal, strong First Lady was just more than some people seemed to be able to handle. Since then she has had the right-wing media tar and feather her over things that are mostly much ado about nothing in my view.
All of that being said, she is also not gifted with much in the way of charisma, and her overall demeanor is just . . . disagreeable. Certainly she doesn't do much to ingratiate herself to anyone without a strong bias in the first place. Still, she is exceptionally intelligent and quite well qualified, and I would vote for her 1,000 times out of 1,000 over Donald fucking Trump. If we as a nation are stupid and angry enough to elect a demagogue moron like him as the leader of the free world, we deserve to fall as a republic.
