It looks clean to me. If it was red and had a Ducati badge on the side people would cream themselves and say how cool it is.

I make lots of lights youre just not doing it right.

I also like how you cleaned the tail up.

I make lots of lights too...but every now and then you get caught out trying to make a light. If you say you don't, you're either lying, or you never try to make lights. :p

Thanks!

Why post that? Seriously, what convinces you that posting in that manner is welcome in this forum? :colbert:

Did fbb hack your account? Some reason you thought we give a shit about you almost but not actually coming anywhere close to having an accident? Actually, this is even worse than fbb as at least he almost died or something, where as you just, what missed out on getting a red light ticket?

I'm just giving you shit, but am I the only one that's noticed all the threads that are basically "OMG something almost happened but didn't while driving today!" lately?

Hey, I have a wife and she likes to keep the house looking nice...she's a Realtor in the area so she believes our house must have curb appeal. Just so happens that that area is the only flat area near the garage so I always pull up there before I back it into the garage.

lots of them come with it

or ya know, you could do it by feel and not lock up the brakes like expert riders have been doing for 50+ years

not that I am against ABS, but seriously, skill trumps all

Zero rear brake works best for my bike. Engine braking in my highest gear is enough to skid the rear -- assuming it's on the ground at all.

on what bike do you think zero rear brake provides the fastest stopping?

a unicycle?

even my R6 stops noticably quicker with the rear brake, you just have to be careful, which can be hard in those lovely OH SHIT moments

And you've been riding for a while too .. imagine what a biker with little to no experience would have done braking that hard.

Its downright ballsy to ride a bike in a large city these days. Co-worker of mine was paralyzed from a head on collision with an elderly guy that pulled out on him in May. His head bounced off the guys windshield (he usually wears a helmet but this was a Sunday afternoon ride with his wife on the back). :(

not trying to detract too much from making fun of Jule's impatients planted next to the bike... I mean I have no idea what kind of flowers they are because I am a manly man and have no such knowledge of anything that isn't sheetrock...

Anyway, does anyone ride a bike with ABS? How well does it work with a bike? I heard there were a few bugs in them when it came to motorcycles, something about weights or whatnot.

Depends on the bike. Some are very very good, others are kind of intrusive. The ABS on the new Honda CBR600RR is supposed to be excellent as is the ABS on some of the BMW motorcycles including the new S1000RR.

I'm quite proud of my impatiens actually. I'll be out there with my gardening implements and matching clogs and apron this weekend. :p
