<< I'm using Mozilla after a fresh reboot to post this. IE isn't active and hasn't been started since the reboot.

One more question. I used to be able to relocate the cache with earlier versions of Netscape. Version 6 didn't allow it... hey WTF, now this window isn't allowing text to scroll! Oh well, as I was saying, the last version of Netscape didn't seem to have an option to move the cache either. Am I missing it somewhere?

Edit: No Netscape is still installed as far as I know. Haven't tried to run it yet... Yep, just fired it up. Seems OK.
>>

Maybe you should just go back to IE. You seem to being a a frustrating time.

Having Netscape 4 installed is OK, but having Netscape 6 installed creates problems. (EDIT: because Mozilla and Netscape 6 are really the same program, expect Mozilla is more up to date)

And I do not know if the cache can be relocated.

I'm not going to bother with any obscure browsers. Just need a copy of NS or whatever to see what my pages look like in something other than IE. I try to keep my pages basic and compatible.

Ever since Netscape 6.0 it has been better than IE. It is consistently faster. And I mean noticeably faster. But it does have problems with certain web pages that are written to be viewed by IE. But other than that it is smooth as butter. IE 6 is nice as well but Netscape 6 and now 6.2 are slightly better.

Despite the Frontpage Express 2.0 Ornery, your page displays fine on this Mozilla 0.96 :)

I don't know why so many peeps are so down on Netscape  I did have stability probs with the 4.x and 6.0 versions, but the 6.1 and 6.2 have been rock solid, not a single crash :)
Actually, I have Mozilla 0.9.6 too (using it now) and I've had more problems with it than 6.2 (wierd 'can't find page' errors, frames not displayed, etc). I haven't found any advantages
to Mozilla over 6.2 myself.

How is that possible? Netscape 6.2 is simply an older build of Mozilla (0.9.4.1 to be exact).

I used to be a Netscape fan up till the 4.7x versions because I was still using w98se back then. When Netscape crashes it won't bring the whole OS down with it but IE will. Ever since I switched to w2k I find no reasons to install Netscape anymore because even when IE crashes on rare occassions it never bring the OS down.

I don't know, I didn't try Mozilla .9.4.1.....and I realize that Mozilla is a future build of Netscape, I'm just reporting my experiences....

because IE is that damn good
P.S NS stand for Nutsucks
>>

Lots of responses I could say to this, most of them inquiring on your intelligence level.

After all that has been said, you still respond in such an ignorant manner.

oh...Red Dawn was so right...ignorance is definately bliss, some wish to stay ignorant forever apparantly.

I definitely still agree that IE is the best all-purpose browser... it renders a tad bit faster, but not noticeably so on a fast system and it's interface is still better. NS's interface may be modular but it seems clunky... a bit overbasic and way too AOLish.
For secure connection transactions like online banking and online CC bills, I use NS 6.2 because it doesn't screw up... so that's all it really use it for.
I thought NS stood for "Nutscrape"? and IE stands for "Internet Exploder"?
