Netflix users?

It rocks, blockbuster was to slow, so i switched to nextflix takes 1 day to send and receieve discs

Just the opposite for me. I switched to BB.

Also in NYC. Return DVD, wait a day, next one is here... but, maybe that's only in select areas or areas close to their warehouses...

Ya it all depends on where you live, they have a netflix warehouse here but not a BB, im sure in your city it could be vice versa

I used it for a while and I was really happy with it. I always received my DVDs on time and their selection is amazing.

No complaints. Kinda nice actually. Most of the time it's pretty quick, although embrace of the vampire was sent thursday and supposedly won't arrive till tuesday...

The quality of the DVDs has decreased, because people don't care to take care of other's property. That's the only thing I can say negative about Netflix.

Not a problem with netflix though. You can find messed up stuff in any rental environment.

Fantastic service and a joy to use with pricing and selection that beats the crap out of any rental outlet. I was in the LA area.

keep your "membership fee to rentals" ratio over $2.00 per dvd and you'll have great service

I average 12 movies a month now, but I used to average over 20 a month, and I've never had a problem ($17.99 plan). It's the people that burn and return the same day that have mysterious delays.

i agree

ive had netflix for a little over a year; love the service and selection. never had a problem with them and with the rare exception my turnaround is fast enough to have no complaints. we watch 8-15 movies a month

Used to be, I receive on a Monday, mailback on Tuesday, they receive and ship on Wednesday, I receive on Thursday...

Now it is I receive on a Monday, mailback on Tuesday, they receive on a Wednesday and claim that it is shipping this day, around 4PM change it to shipping Thursday, allegedly ships the movie on Thursday and I receive on Friday, Saturday or Monday.

Netflix pretty much sucks for me, but then again it doesn't suck as much as blockbuster.

Distro center is 45 miles away.
