keep your "membership fee to rentals" ratio over $2.00 per dvd and you'll have great service

I average 12 movies a month now, but I used to average over 20 a month, and I've never had a problem ($17.99 plan). It's the people that burn and return the same day that have mysterious delays.

Netflix has slowed down for me, but I'm still w/ them. The worst part is my service slowed down after my winter break when I just chilled at home and watched the DVD the day I got it and mailed it back the next day 🙁

The quality of the DVDs has decreased, because people don't care to take care of other's property. That's the only thing I can say negative about Netflix.

Not a problem with netflix though. You can find messed up stuff in any rental environment.
Well, I think it's their problem when they send me a DVD that has a huge crack in it. They should check for that. I've gotten a few that have deep scratches and are pretty much unplayable. I think Netflix should at least check the DVD before the repackage it and send it to someone else. While they aren't the one that scratched it, they are the one who looks bad for it being scratched.

Have had both Blockbuster and Netflix. BB was poor but NF was awful. Can only assume NF wants to play games in my locale so that no one can see more than 3 movies a week.
The NF distribution center is 100 miles away and although it only took them 24 hours to deliver from the time I ordered, they claimed long delays in the ones I shipped back, taking as long as 6 days. (And I ALWAYS shipped back NEXT DAY by driving them back to the local POST OFFICE so that there could be no delay in shipping!!!)
Something was very wrong with them. Urge you to use a trial period.
BTW for only about $6 or $7 more a month you can get Blockbuster's 2 out at a time in store and can have unlimited movies each month. I find it the best.
