No, just that nature and the universe doesn't recognize any rights for anyone. Such things are a human construct, so naturally we decide what they are.

To be more precise your rights are whatever those with power say they are, or at least allow.

If you bring your own water with you.

Also water is the property of the citizens and thus needs to be owned and utilized by the government. Just like all of our utilities need to be run by the government.

Because we all know everything ends up being cheaper when the government runs it.

I never said we need to adopt the platform of increasing government power only that certain stuff needs to be under government control and operation. As it is now the utilities are run by companies that often have government sponsored monopolies so I do not know how Matt1970 can think the government running it for real can be any worse for cost. I believe Matt1970 is a far right conservative so this is probably more of his government hate evangelism. Although I am not sure.

That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed......

So we are the powers that be and the rights we have exist whether we allow them or not. We say our rights are God given but many many people don't believe it because they have no idea who they are and don't even want to notice that fact. So today, with the mechanical sleep that people dream walk in, all your rights are in danger. Your rights are only safe among folk who know that God is the essence of being, that is to say folk who know who they really are.

In the world you see you are only as safe as the robots deem you to be.

During the enlightenment there was a tremendous spiritual awakening, but now most people have gone back to sleep. Today the word enlightened is used to insult people. People don't know it, but they are very angry that they are asleep. It makes them very mean.

What you are saying is that rights only exist when they are enforced, that they are created and eliminated out of thin air, that they are painted with a brush rather than revealed by a brush used to wipe off the dust on a painting. Rights are subjective rather than inalienable, that you are not in agreement with the Declaration. That's a sad world to live in, a world of self ignorance, in my opinion.

So where do you think the impetus of our ancient struggle from the slime to the light comes from?
