I am now 1.8mod....BUt the 330HTT was no different from 1.41mod to 1.8mod so I dontthink there was any difference....

350 didn't boot, but BJC reminded me I am stil using 3x for an HTT of 1050....I need to try 2.5x.....

347 is blended testing prime right....so far so good.....
 
347 blended test for 9 hours and 6 minutes before I stopped it....

Going to try 350 again by dropping to 2.5x.....
 
i run it on a daily basis at 300x8. i removed the fan on the nb chip and replaced it with the zalman fanless and as5. chipset runs nice and cool below 30c.

Where are you getting the temps for your NB?

using bios 1.42mod and getting temp from bios. im using a antec "dragon" case with the side 80mm fan blowing out. temps idle are around 26c and underload reach 30c.

350 booted fine with 2.5x HTT multiplier and has run prime95 blend test since 7:30am to now 1:30pm...6 hours so far no problem!!!


I dont know my chipset temp because the 39.5c I think is my aux temp near the power caps....I dont see a chipset temp....I see one temp at the 24 range but that may be more of an ambient case temp....

Since I dont know any real definite way to overvolt it I am not sure if you can damage it...It likely will just get flaky and error out causing you to dump down to speeds (HT) until it works fine....

My chipset feels as warm as it always has so I am not sure if it is really that much warmer...

Nice to see that the basic Hyper Transport design is capable of scaling so well. Maybe with the X2's well start seeing 1.2 GHz HT by default.

353 going now and still priming after about 2-1/2 hours.....

I have noticed since 348 that when I restart the system it will shut the monitor down like it is going to be a failed start...you know like when you run the memory too far and it wont boot and you need to restart it again and go back into bios to lower it or to clear the cmos...However it does it for like 1 second and then pops back on...Non scientific but I think it has been getting a bit longer each bump in HTT...I say maybe 360 isn't attainable....I say maybe I will have boot issues within the next 3-5 HTT....

Ya i know what you mean.. You can tell when its starting to get flaky around the windows logon.. I can tell throughout the boot process when running right on the edge of stability..

Might take a bit longer for the windows XP logo to appear..


Even if you start to get shaky @ 355, that's still impressive.. Most in this post haven't even broke 300..

 
355 crapped out at 3-1/2 hours blended test...Short of popping off hsf and applying some AS5 I think this is my official limit (353)....
