Update To all:
I'm sorry if I wasn't clear:
The neighborhood association: The president's dog was poisoned a few months ago, and it was a very short time after the "problem" where a lot of people weren't happy with the outcome. He FOUND the tainted dog food, and could see the antifreeze. Why he ddint' call the police, I don't know. He's got another dog, and he just keeps them indoors now.
I was approved for my 10X10 Pen + wood deck (just sits on the ground) that it was on top of. However, many people have not b!tched about it being seen from the road, and I've been asked to move it further behind the house which will require some landscaping, and cutting down a tree. I told them what it would be like before I put it up. Typical stuff. I'm going to do it, but only when I get some time b/c it's going to be a b!tch-----But, like I said.....I won't be putting my dogs in that pen unless I'm already home.
Two houses down from me, and 4 houses away from the President of the Association is where the puppy lived. In the little culdesac we're on, there's only two more houses, and everyone at least here is ok with dogs doing a little running. The dog died this past weekend, and I was out playing with it and my dogs on Tuesday. She was only about 3-4 months old at the most. I never meant to imply that I knew she was poisoned because I don't. I meant to imply that I suspected she might have been because she did run around a bit....... I don't deny that there's probably as much chance that she could have died naturally, as it was that she was poisoned.....but I'm not taking any chances with my animals.
The only tie in with the Pit Bull and the other dog (Pres of the Assoc) was the relative short amount of time where two dogs have both died suddenly--and those two dogs lived 4 houses away from each other.
I still miss that little ah heck. She sure was sweet.
