More information about these neighbors:

So apparently they also do not have any type of utility service. Which means no electricity or water. I don't know how you could survive without water service. I suppose it's possible that they could have some type of well, but all of the other homes in the neighborhood are connected to city water. They are the only house on the street with no record of service on the utility website.

They don't have any vehicles and I always see them walking back and forth to the convenience store at the end of the road. My wife thinks they might be squatters but I don't know. According to public records the house was last sold in 1984 to a guy with a PO Box number as his address and I don't think he is getting homestead exemption. I don't know what the hell is going on but now I'm worried. These people could be dangerous so I'm definitely not confronting them.

I submitted an anonymous ticket on the county website regarding the garbage in the yard. I've got a reference number so I can check for updates on their website. They just updated it today with the comment "address never had a garbage service account" and the case was forwarded to code enforcement.

How many households, others than yours, can see their backyard and all the trash? One? Anonymity will not help you, and you can expect to find yourself along with any family you may be living with to join the pile.

I sent an e-mail to the county as I live outside of city limits. I'll see how they respond.
This will do nothing. People ignore emails. Try calling.
plan b: gasoline and matches

You can also try spraying pesticides on the pile using a Super Soaker. Remember that pesticides are poisonous so try not to inhale any of it and don't get it on your hands (hard to wash off, contaminates your food).

whoa.

well, if they become dangerous...you shouldn't have to worry about murdering them, should the need arise.

no one knows they exist. :hmm:

A) tape an anonymous letter on their doorknob saying "clean it up before I torch your entire backyard with a nuke from orbit"

B) skip the letter and go straight to the bonfire route

C) ask if you can add your trash to their pile as you're running out of space for your radioactive trash/medical waste/lead paint/old drug needles

You should send me some of the snakes. I wish we had feral pythons and shit here.

Sounds like quite the neighbours.

No electric or water service....ever? That can't be right. I would think the house would have been seized for failure to pay taxes by now. It sounds like some one's second home or investment home or something that now has squatters in it.

They only keep records for electric and water for 12 months. So no service within the last year anyway.

However, they have never had garbage service.
