Well,
I have a year old pc. I'd like to upgrade, but thats just not possible at this time. So i've got to thinking about just boosting performance a bit. Overclocking seemed like the perfect answer.(most everything I bought was originally meant to be overclocked anyhow, just never got to it)
I already oc'd my Video card...wish this was as simple
So now onto my CPU.
Here's what I have:
Motherboard: MSI K8T Neo2 F (model MS-6702E) picture
Processor: Winchester 939 AMD 64 3500+
RAM: Crucial BallistiX pc 3200, 2 sticks of 512mb picture
Cooling: Zalman CNPS7700-Cu Picture
Now I've tried reading the guides and quite frankly, I'm just not grasping it...I understand where/how to change everything, but I don't understand WHAT to change and the values that they need to be changed to.
I'm not looking to push this baby as far as it can go, but I'd like to see it at around 2.6ghz. So please, someone give me the information I need to complete this
Your help will be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance!
