I know there was something in the article about the PCB board but that was the first 1000 units that were made. Didn't know if the manufacturer made a differance or not. Please help Thank You

Here's another link that goes into the specs and review on the "Tyan Tachyon G9500 Pro" , this is the card I would buy in a heartbeat...if I could find one! But I'm able to wait a bit and keep looking. Take a look and see what you think.
Good luck!

Regards,

MC:)

If someone had that card for a good price I'd be buying it also. I really like the adjustable fan speed (trying to get as silent as possible on my pc). However I looking to go with the FIC card from Newegg w/ the Zalman heatpipe for absolutely no noise and I hate replacing those damn little fans.

Anybody have any negative opinions on this card? The reviews at Newegg look good, I want to order something tonight.

I also have been lookin' for somebody who actually has any of those Tyan cards for sale! They get great reviews, but you can never find any in the real world!

Timmyotule,

I have the FIC9500 Pro card from newegg and it works great for me. I am CPU limited I think, running an AMD 1.4G t-bird, but I can play Q3 with all settings maxed with no slowdowns at all. You would do good to get the Zalman heatpipe cooler, I have one on the way because the fan on this card is fairly loud.

EDIT: BTW redwolf321, prior to getting the 9500, I purchased a saphire 9000Pro from newegg and it sucked big time. Would only do agp2x with no fast writes, and gave off this burning smell. But since it was newegg I RMA'd it with no problem. Don't know if all the saphire cards are like that, maybe I just got a bad one.
