My rabbit story:
When I was 11, I went "down south" for a family reunion. My uncle had a farm and he had about 12 "blue rabbits" in a cage there. They were such a deep color of gray that they looked like they were blue- it was really amazing! I played and frolicked with them all day.
The next day, the whole family met at a park for a picnic. We had dozens of different salads, fruits, veggies, beans, cheeses...it was quite a spread. We also had these tiny pieces of fried chicken that were absolutely delicious! I ate one after the other after the other...they were so good!
Then my uncle comes up while I'm eating and starts small talk. He says "You really liked those rabbits, don't you." I thought he was referring to the time I spent playing with the blue bunnies the day before, and I thought he was going to give me one. He then goes on to say "A lot of kids won't eat rabbit, but you know what's good, eh?", then he nudges me with his elbow.
GAAHH!!!!!! I'm still in therapy :|
