Need to get rid of rabbits - no weapons allowed

My rabbit story:

When I was 11, I went "down south" for a family reunion. My uncle had a farm and he had about 12 "blue rabbits" in a cage there. They were such a deep color of gray that they looked like they were blue- it was really amazing! I played and frolicked with them all day.

The next day, the whole family met at a park for a picnic. We had dozens of different salads, fruits, veggies, beans, cheeses...it was quite a spread. We also had these tiny pieces of fried chicken that were absolutely delicious! I ate one after the other after the other...they were so good!

Then my uncle comes up while I'm eating and starts small talk. He says "You really liked those rabbits, don't you." I thought he was referring to the time I spent playing with the blue bunnies the day before, and I thought he was going to give me one. He then goes on to say "A lot of kids won't eat rabbit, but you know what's good, eh?", then he nudges me with his elbow.

GAAHH!!!!!! I'm still in therapy :|

Heh..ate fluffy! 😛

My aunt used to name all of her animals.. All of them - sheep, pigs, cows, goats well except the chickens. Anyway, looking in her freezer she labels the meat "Doris, chops", etc with their names. Doris was one of the pigs.

Dry Ice. Take dry ice and water in bath tub with plastic bin... Dry ice melts a little because of water in tub, plastic bin keeps all CO2 in small space killing small fluffy animal.

My favorite rabbit story is a lady took her rabbit she nolonger wanted to the zoo, after a few days she changed her mind and went to get it back.. She was told they had fed it to a snakes.

It's hard to get rid of rabbits without using force... Usually stray cats in your neighborhood will get rid of them. If you know where they are hiding, you can try mothballs. You can also call your local government animal and wildlife people and see if they have any suggestions.

You can buy fox urine at hunting goods stores, put some of that on a cotton ball and stick the cotton balls in a small plastic bottle with holes in it.
