Im trying to register my evga 7600GT, and i need the serial number. I dont have the Upc, i sent it in for a rebate(that never came >() and i was wondering if its on the card anywhere? I want to know before I have to get my comp out of the chest (its kind of a hassle)

Im thinking about using evga's step up program. I want to step up to a 8800gts, but i dunno how much credit I'd get for sending in my 7600GT. Has anyone else used this program?

For eVGA's step-up program, you get as much as you paid for it, less shipping and rebates (if your UPC is missing). For example, if you paid $120 for the card and there was a $20 rebate, you'd get $120 with the UPC on the box, and $100 without it, whether or not you got your rebate. I've never used the program, but I really did intend to (got a better deal selling my 7600GT, and ended up buying a 7900 GT separately). You do need all of the packaging from your card you want to step up from, but from what I've read, eVGA is pretty fast about getting things back to you, and even processing your old card. Hope that helped!

You do need the original packaging or they will deduct 15% off your stepup value. In other words, if you paid 100, you would only get credited 85 without the original box and stuff.

you might do better selling the card on the FS/FT forum and buying an 8800GTS from an online vendor. evga steps you up at msrp. you should shop around a little.

I agree.
Step-up isn't worthy anymore since the 8800's MSRP is so inflated to begin with.
I'm glad I didn't step-up with my current GTO.
You could get the new 8800GTS for around low $300ish nowadays (AR).
