This time, for my brother. Being a mechanic, he never really thought of having a resume until now. Various circumstances are requiring he have one available. Unfortunately, I'm not the greatest at writing these things up. So... help!
What I have here is a solid 20 years of auto mechanic experience, but what I'm not sure about is how to represent his skills and certifications on the resume. Do I lump his ASE certifications together with the regular technical skills section? Do I break the certs up into a seperate section? Right now in a rough outline he has his professional experience, certifications, education, specialty areas (which should be noted I'm thinking), and his areas of experience as a manager.
I'm definitely thinking this is going to be a 2 page resume, but how to make it look good is the key.
