That'd be even better, but without a 25% off coupon I can't manage that. How do I get one of those and where does that 5% discount come in?

Also, if I can't do that, is it really not worth double the video ram?

Welp, unless anyone has serious things to tell me in getting the x1800xt over the 7900 GT, speak now.

It still irks me that it's cheaper, but hey, i'm all for that, assuming i'm not getting gyped.

Here you go 7900GT with a full version of the King King game.

EDIT: Fixed link

Well ok. That article seems to be extremely poorly written, and doesn't take into account the myriad benchmarks i've looked at, and the extra features of the x1800xt.

So all I need to know now is, is it worth spending extra money on the 512 version?

The 2nd link I provided shows some performance losses in games with 256mb.

Welp, there we go. I did more research on various other sites, and it generally seems to boil down to fanboyism on which card most people prefer.People showed benchmarks that gave both cards the advantage over the other, so i'm gonna go with ATI as that's what I currently have, and the AVIVO thing looks really nice. Thanks for all the help guys!

Now, if I have some extra dough, I might grab a better cooler. That VF700 Zalman thing seems to come hotly recommended. (Ha! Pun!)
