did you manually assign the 750ti as the physics processor in nv control panel? Might need to do that before SLI option would be available.

You might have to get direct support from Nvidia for this. Not many titanblack sli running around.

I would remove the 750 till you figure it out and just run the titans. Really no need for the 750.

Good luck.

I bet when you put that third card in you are breaking sli compatibility due to NVidia's strict pci-e lane requirements. There should be a bios setting that will designate the number of pci-e lanes to lowest slots. Take a look and you'll find the problem. You should be able to run sli and the 750 after that.

From that pic, lava is right. Slot 2 needs to be x8, and 3 is fine at x4.

i've tried to change slot 2 to 8x by changing the value fro (Auto) to (GEN2) nothing happend

then tried lowered slot1 and slot2 to (GEN!) and changed slot3 to (GEN 2) also didnt work

i guess it will work if the changed the titan from slot 1 to slot3 (put the 750ti in the 1st slot) but then titans they will be in sandwich which will raise temps

It seems your board has no plx chip so you can't use more than 2 Nvidia cards. SLI requires x8 lanes for every card, but the moment you put in the 750Ti the 2nd and 3rd slots drop to x4 lanes. If you really want to do this you need a Z87/97 board with a plx chip or an X79 board.

agree that this is the issue, but i thought Z87 could do X8 X8 then X4 off the chipset without PLX?

It can. You can do SLI + physx on mainstream boards. OP: You won't get answers for this here. If you want useful answers, go to that nvidia website (the NV devs are usually pretty responsive) or go to the asus ROG website (they are also responsive). It could be a motherboard issue. But in any case, asus makes titan black boards so they could more directly work on the issue with you.

I suspect continuing the question here would lead down a path of subtle trolling and non answers from those with no experience with either piece of hardware. The above two (asus ROG forum + NV forum) are the best bet to really get an answer.

If you got a single slot card and stuck it into one of those PCIE x1 slots (first or second would be your best bet if you're running SLI), it probably would be okay.

Looking at the Newegg postings of this board, seems like the exact problem happens to the most person with the most helpful comment:

Cons: I really wanted to pair this motherboard in SLI with the new Asus Raidr Express SSD. They are both one of the newest products from Asus and I was eagerly awaiting their launch. I picked up both recently and set everything up. Only after getting my OS almost all configured did I realize that I couldn't enable the SLI setting on the NVIDIA control panel. Took me 2 days of reading forums when I discovered that the SLI wouldn't work because when you plug in the Asus Raidr SSD into the 3rd PCIe 16x slot (the only available slot when you have an SLI setup) it makes the 1st slot operate on 8x and the 2nd slot operate at 4x, therefore making the SLI setup incompatible. The Asus Raidr SSD has a PCIe 2.0 x2 configuration and this MOBO does not have any of those slots, the only one you can use is the 3rd PCIe 16x slot and that disables SLI support. If I have lost you by now, just understand that if you have a SLI setup, youl probably will not be able to add any further devices to this mobo, unless you strictly have a PCIe 2.0 x1 devide (and even then some video cards may cover these up).

I will now have to return the Asus Raidr SSD and get a SATA SSD. Too bad.

There is no reason that I know of why his motherboard won't run this config other than user error or defective board. Keep trying things. I think there is might be another pci-e configuration section in your bios. Check some of the cpu settings.

wouldn't a 750 ti bottleneck the Titan Blacks in SLi. Maybe thats why Nvidia wont allow it

It happened in the above post. This is why you won't get an answer here, OP.

EDIT: Oops, I typed this and realized this is in reference to SLI. Maybe disregard, but I'll leave it here anyway.

Edit 2: I own a Z77 Sabertooth and I do find it weird that you are having this issue since on the Sabertooth, I can run a GTX560ti for Physx with SLI 780s @ PCI-E 3.0 x8 without a problem, lol...

I researched a bit and found that it's 2-way support only because, like coffeejunkie said, no PLX chip.

In the comments someone from Asus says, "Yes correction though only 2 way SLI is supported. The ASUS GTX 780 DirectCU II looks awesome you have to love the RED and BLACK combination!"

On a little side note: it looks like you are running your RAM DIMMs in the wrong slots. Shouldn't they both be in the same colored slot for dual channel?
