I'd go with the Jackson. The archtop is gorgeous, and I like the black hardware better than the cheapo chrome (but thats just a matter of cosmetics I guess). It really depends what you're going to play; the Epiphone is a heavy mahogany body and thick neck, while the Jackson is alder body with a thinner maple neck (so its lighter and "faster").
I have a DK2FS and couldn't be happier...
