Now? Being outsold by Battlefield 3? You really think that's accurate? There's no way in hell that more people will order Battlefield 3 like 2 years after it came out compared to PS4/XB1 preorders.

Yes, it is accurate because Amazon had it on sale for 5$ for the base game and 15$ for premium. Amazon is also having their digital summer sale, to which millions of customers have purchased downloadable games - A lot of people buy PC digital downloads months or years after the fact. Maybe you're unaware, but GMG, Getgamesgo, gog, and steam are doing summer sales. Millions of people take advantage of this, and amazon.com for the US does not aggregate video game sales from console pre-orders. I easily think a 5$ BF3 game will outsell a 400-500$ preorder console, absolutely.

XB1 will get outsold by PS4 easily this generation, even in the US, where it should end up like 60/40 or 55/45. In Europe XB1 will be annihilated outside of the UK, where they will still lose. In Asia and Japan, they're a zero.

As a preface, I never said the XB1 would win. Yet, your opinion is completely unreasonable here and borderline trolling. Nobody knows whether XB1 or PS4 will win, keep in mind it is a 10 year battle and the prices will shift continually.
I only stated that the decision isn't clear cut. I won't make it a secret that i've preferred XBL on the 360 over PSN online, as it is just a better service in the states - but there are several points which make the decision not so clear cut even at current prices. Twitch is a major factor for some, and to state that not a single console will be sold on this is just ridiculous. No, it won't create 20 million sales. But it is a datapoint that a lot of people will take seriously. It really sounds to me like you and cmddredd are just completely unaware of the world of streaming, it is something that a lot of people participate in and enjoy. And it will cost additional money (50$ or more) on a PS4 for streaming, while it is integrated on the XB1. Many tournaments are streamed via twitch with 20k-30k US in prizes, including EVO which I mentioned earlier - it is the largest fighting game tournament in the world which attracts folks from all over the world. As well, all of the pro-circuit SC2/HOTS tournaments are twich - including MLG which has a substantial number of viewers. So twitch is a selling point, absolutely. Subsidized pricing is another datapoint to consider - MS is strongly rumored to be creating a version with subsidized pricing with XBLG. Sony may do the same, but if this evens out the pricing that is another data point. Additionally, MS will have skype streaming with a camera built in, while the PS4 version costs more money. Personally, I have mixed feelings on this particular data point - I feel like kinect should be optional, not a requirement. Anyway.....will these data points make XB1 the winner? I have no idea, man. I don't even know which console i'm buying.
Again, I never said XB1 would win, although I suspect it will be more popular in the states. Maybe not. Who knows. But you are just sounding unreasonably aggressive and one-sided in your opinion. I can pinpoint tons of examples of superior hardware ultimately losing, so I don't really buy that argument. The average consumer is none the wiser - and then you make blanket statements that the XB1 will lose in every part of the world. Get real man. Nobody knows that and to state that is just ridiculous / trolling. That might happen, but I don't think it will. It'll be an interesting fight nonetheless, as i'm undecided myself on which console to get.
Again, there's no clear-cut winner. I fully expect MS to attempt to even out the pricing difference (how they will do this remains to be seen), if PS4 gains momentum based on price - which will probably happen at B+M outlets - I don't believe MS is stupid enough to let that continue indefinitely. Then again, there are several things you gain from the difference in price, although the hardware is a bit less powerful as you mentioned. We'll see, though.
